In recent years the market of the door and window frames has changed significantly. Besides the historic wooden frame, new solutions, often cheaper and of high energy efficiency, are available.

\nNew materials, such as PVC and aluminium, are now among the most common materials used for the production of door and window frames.

\nThese materials, but especially PVC, combine cheaper costs, high energy efficiency, durability and low maintenance costs. In addition to remarkably simple machining.
\nSingle-head or dual-head mitre saws and automatic cutting centres are heavily used in machining processes.
\nThese machines generally have some specific features: extraction outlets with a small diameter and a very long hose.

\nThe level of danger of the dust to be extracted must also be considered with regards to the risks of explosion.
